De Young Museum - Scottish National Galleries Tour
San Francisco, April 17, 2015, 7:00 p.m.
The 11th Season of "Friday Nights at the De Young," at the De Young Museum, one of San Francisco's Fine Arts Museums located in Golden Gate Park, opened with a program to celebrate the special traveling exhibition, Botticelli to Braque: Masterpieces from the National Galleries of Scotland, together with the annual Bouquets to Art exhibition, which was also on view. The gala opening included live Scottish dancing and music from
The Red Thistle Dancers and Red Thistle Music.
The Red Thistle Dancers performed a special medley which included a nod to the famous painting shown above, a Scottish Country Dance titled, "The Minister on the Loch."
